Description

A rich, ultra-smooth pistachio butter made from just one ingredient. Naturally sweet with no added sugar, this creamy homemade spread is packed with healthy fats and plant-based protein—perfect for toast, yogurt, smoothies, oatmeal, and quick energy-boosting breakfasts.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups raw pistachios
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

1️⃣ Roast for maximum flavor
Spread pistachios on a baking sheet and roast at 325°F for 8–10 minutes until warm and fragrant. Roasting brings out natural sweetness and helps the nuts release their oils.

2️⃣ Blend until crumbly
Transfer warm pistachios to a high-powered food processor and add a pinch of salt. Blend until they break down into a coarse crumble.

3️⃣ Keep blending — don’t stop early
Pistachios move through stages: crumbly → sandy → thick paste → creamy butter.
Scrape down the sides as needed and continue blending. Continue the process and don’t give up.  It will take some effort, but you will see it turn creamy. This process can take between 5-10 minutes, depending on your blender.

4️⃣ Store and enjoy
Transfer to a glass jar. Refrigerate for maximum freshness.
